Processing of personal data
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. Processing covers any handling of personal data, in particular collecting, storing, using, disclosing and deleting. We process personal data only for as long as required for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on Art. 6 (1) GDPR: consent (lit. a), performance of a contract and pre-contractual measures (lit. b), legal obligations (lit. c) and legitimate interests (lit. f), in particular our interest in providing and securing this website and our services.
Bookings and reservations
When you reserve a course, class, personal training or programme through this website, we collect your name, e-mail address, phone number, the booked service, your message and the chosen payment method. For security reasons we also store the IP address and the time of the booking. This data is stored on our web server in Switzerland (hosting: cyon GmbH, Basel) and used to process the booking, send confirmation and reminder e-mails and for invoicing. We keep booking data for as long as required for the performance of the contract and the statutory retention period (10 years for accounting records).
Payment
Online payments by card or Klarna are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Dublin); payments with TWINT by TWINT AG, Zurich. The data required for the payment (amount, reference number, e-mail address, payment method) is transmitted directly to the respective provider. We ourselves do not receive complete card or account details. The privacy policies of Stripe and TWINT apply.
Contact
If you contact us by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp, we process your details to answer your request. For WhatsApp, the privacy policy of WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) additionally applies.
Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by cyon GmbH in Basel, Switzerland. When you visit, technical data such as IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser and operating system are automatically stored in log files. This data serves the security and operation of the website and is deleted after a short time.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics tools. For the booking, your browser temporarily stores details of the current booking process locally (sessionStorage) so that nothing is lost between the steps.
External services
Google Fonts: the "Poppins" font is loaded from Google servers; your IP address is transmitted to Google. Google Maps: the map on the "About" page is only loaded when you explicitly display it. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin; Google privacy policy. Instagram and Facebook: links to our profiles lead to Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.; when visiting these pages their privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You have the right to information about your personal data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time. Please contact hello@mamifit.ch. The supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes
We may amend this privacy policy at any time without prior notice. The current version published on this website applies.
